An impressive, large map of Nuremberg and the surrounding villages and countryside with a detailed panorama below. The map has a numbered and lettered key to 49 locations and the uncolored panorama has 40 buildings identified in the key. Beautiful baroque engravings flank the view incorporating a queen, with a globe, Mercury, putti, and a river god.

Full contemporary color in the map and later color in the view and decorative elements. There is light soiling, a printer's crease adjacent to the centerfold, toning along the edges of the sheet, and a professionally repaired centerfold separation at bottom. Trimmed to the neatline at bottom center by the bookbinder.
