This map of the Middle East spans from eastern Turkey to the western edge of India and shows Alexander the Great's route through the region. Many rivers, mountains, deserts, and important cities and towns are identified. Condition: Contemporary outline color on a bright sheet, issued folding.

This map of Alexander the Great's route through the Middle East includes symbols identifying the locations of battles and sieges. The title cartouche includes a vignette of an encampment. Engraved by Maurille Antoine Moithey. Issued folding with light toning and foxing along the edges of the sheet.
