A. Quebec, by Alain Manesson Mallet, from Description de l'Univers, circa 1683 (3.8 x 5.4"). A charming small panoramic view of the city of Quebec along the St. Lawrence River. The river is filled with ships and the title is in a ribbon banner in the sky. References: Pastoureau, MANESSON-MALLET I A [627].

B. Quebec, by Claude Charles le Roy Bacqueville de la Potherie, from Histoire de l'Amerique Septentrionale, Vol. 1, circa 1722 (6.4 x 5.1"). This panoramic view of Quebec has a key contained within a drape-style cartouche that identifies 10 locations, including the fort, the cathedral, and the magazines.
