This colorful map by Ira Moss is filled throughout with sporting animals in a style reminiscent of hunting maps of the late 19th century. It is finely drawn and colored to show a staggering amount of information. The legend names and keys to the national forests, big game, small game, animal predators, small mammals, upland game birds, shore birds, winged predators, geese & brant, and ducks. Plus each species is shown in surrounding vignettes that indicate their range. This edition of Moss's map was published in conjunction with Outdoor Life Magazine and Marlin Firearms Company. Blank verso.
