This handsome sea chart of northern Scotland extends from Forres west to Inverness and northeast to Wick. It features good coastal detail including rivers, towns, soundings, shoals and anchorages. North is oriented to the right and is marked by two compass roses with fleurs-de-lis. Includes an inset of Wick at lower left. Adorned by a decorative wreath-style title cartouche.

Condition: B+

A dark impression with light toning, dampstains in the left and right side margins, and a small spot at top. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
