This is a very beautiful map due to the highly decorative title cartouche filling the Baltic Sea. The map covers the northern portion of Poland (Gdansk south to Torun) and the Baltic coast, Konigsburg (Kaliningrad) into Lithuania. It is highly detailed throughout with roads, cities, and towns. The title cartouche features a portrait of Frederick III, King of the Prussian dynasty, surrounded by an elaborate allegorical scene of his coronation in 1701.
