Lovely map of the mountainous region of Savoy extending to include Geneva. Several towns are prominently shown on the map including Grenoble, which is depicted in a small plan-view at lower left. The map is ornamented with strapwork title and scale cartouches. The map was engraved by Abraham Goos and drawn by Jodocus Hondius, with their imprints at bottom. Blank verso.

A crisp impression with a few spots of foxing and light toning along the sheet edges. A centerfold separation confined to the bottom blank margin has been closed with old paper.
