Very detailed map of the Oberpfaltz region north of the Danube. The region shown is from the Main River in the northern corner to Regensburg on the Danube in the south. There are hundreds of villages shown with major towns colored in crimson. The banner-style cartouche is held aloft by putti over a reclining female figure and a lion.

Condition: B+

Contemporary color in the map with later color in the cartouche and a hint of toning along the centerfold. Trimmed at bottom by the bookbinder with partial loss of the neatline.
