This elegant map of Asia spans from Istanbul (Constantinople) to a conjectural mass of land north of a very narrow Korea. There is nice topographical detail, and many tows and cites are named. Nova Zembla appears with an incomplete coastline. The Sea of Japan is referred to as the Sea of China. The map extends to include the Philippines and much of Indonesia. On a sheet of English text measuring 7.8 x 12.3". The map appears in several different Moll publications and was likely issued in either Thesaurus Geographicus or A System of Geography.
