This detailed navigational chart shows Saint Denis on the northern tip of Reunion, an overseas department of France. The waters are filled with soundings and dashed lines indicate the limit of safe anchorage during the summer and winter. There is excellent detail of Saint Denis and the surrounding countryside. The engraved seal of the Depot de la Marine is at bottom left.
