Very interesting chart of the city of Oran and the surrounding coastline on the Barbary coast. The top portion is a bird's eye view of the fort and city and at the bottom is a view as seen from the sea. There are numerous different types of ships and boats, including a battle scene. A lettered key identifies a number of locations on the chart and view.

A sharp impression with full contemporary color on watermarked paper with light toning along the centerfold and a few stains.
