This 27 page congressional document with text in both English and Spanish contains the full terms of both the "Treaty of Amity, Commerce, and Navigation" (22 pages) and the "Treaty of Limits" (5 pages). The Treaty of Limits was important as it confirmed the border with the recently independent Mexico per the earlier Adams-Onis Treaty (1819) between the United States and Spain. Only a few short years later, however, Mexico claimed that the United States violated the terms when they recognized the independent Republic of Texas. Ultimately these terms would fall apart with the United States annexation of Texas in 1845 and the ensuing Mexican-American War.
