This scarce Spanish map focuses on the natural resources of the United States to demonstrate the country's global power and potential to "play a decisive part in the war against aggression." The map uses icons to locate where 10 different resources are grown or manufactured, including planes, cars, ships, munitions, textiles, iron, coal, wood, oil, cotton, livestock, and fruit. The dollar value of the total pre-war annual production for each of the 10 key resources is also given. The three largest resources by dollar volume are textiles, machinery, and beef/dairy. At bottom left is a chart showing the percentage of North American production of various resources compared with the total world production, with North America producing over 90% of the world's supply of molybdenum and 80% of the supply of sulfur. At bottom right another chart comparing the United States' production of essential for war resources with other countries and continents, with particular note of whether the countries are allies, neutral, or not (U.R.S.S.).
