This Hawaiian tourism brochure was published at the end of 1942 to welcome "nurses, sailors and soldiers, marines, war-workers and others who are "all out" for a complete victory" in World War II. The brochure includes 5 very colorful and decorative maps showing the entire Hawaiian archipelago and more detailed maps of the four main islands. The maps are drawn in a whimsical, humorous style much like Jo Mora's celebrated work of the same period. Cartoonish characters populate each with major roads and points of interest noted, which actually make them fairly useful maps for the tourist. Each has a ribbon title banner and a descriptive cartouche. The brochure also includes three photos of native Hawaiians with "smiles and flowers." Published by George T. Armitage and printed by the Advertiser Publishing Co. in Honolulu.
