Superb, large map of South America with great detail of rivers, mountain ranges, cities, missions, and Indian villages. The map is colored to identify the colonial possessions of the Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and British. Nicely engraved with a keyboard-style border. Brue's embossed seal is just below the title cartouche. Dissected and backed in original linen with green ribbon edges.
