A beautiful copper engraving of a large wind rose. Two columns of French text describe the nature of the winds in scientific terms, and provide an explanation of the wind rose, which denotes the various wind directions in four languages; French, Italian, Latin and Spanish. A very decorative piece and a great addition to any cartographic or navigation collection.
