This highly detailed map of Switzerland extends to include portions of present-day Italy, France, and Germany. It graphically depicts the rugged terrain of the region, identifies hundreds of tiny villages, and locates numerous lakes and rivers in the valleys. Decorated by three cartouches with several putti and cherubs.

There is light toning and minor foxing along the lower centerfold and a 6" centerfold separation at bottom that has been mostly closed on verso with old paper.
