This beautiful map covers Russia, Scandinavia, Poland and the Baltic States with pictorial indications of topography and forests. A large inset details the countryside northwest of Moscow. The map is beautifully engraved in Mercator's distinctive style with stippled seas and a strapwork cartouche. French text on verso.

Condition: B+

Light toning with minor foxing on paper with a small coat of arms watermark. There is a small repaired chip along the centerfold at bottom.
