This charming miniature map depicts the region including Syria, Lebanon and Israel. The drape-style cartouche is held aloft by putti, who also hold religious symbols. Flanking the cartouche are two female figures, one of whom has two small children, and the other holds a large bible. French text on verso describing Jerusalem.

A nice impression with minor marginal soiling. Small remnants of hinge tape on verso.
