A. Hot Springs National Park Arkansas, by U.S. Department of Interior, published 1938 (5.9 x 9.1"). This 33-page booklet describes Hot Springs National Park and its history with numerous photographs and a centerfold map, Map of Hot Springs National Park and Portion of City Showing Location of Bathhouses and Public Buildings (9.8 x 7.3"). An additional map at the end of the book notes areas administered by the National Park Service. Soft paper covers illustrated with a photograph of the city of Hot Springs. Condition: Contents have pleasant light toning. Minor wear to covers.
B. 1926 Ozark Playgrounds, by the Ozark Playgrounds Association, dated 1926 (13.0 x 12.6") . The Ozark Playgrounds Association, headquartered in Joplin, MO, was founded in 1919 to promote tourism in the Ozarks. The map shows the region of northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri with roads and railways. A list of members of the Ozark Playgrounds Association and a map of the U.S. locating the Ozarks complete the sheet. Condition: Issued folding on a lightly toned sheet, now pressed, with some fold separations that have been professionally backed with Japanese tissue.
