This 128-page automobile guide book was published by the B.F. Goodrich Company and distributed "in the hope of further stimulating touring and road improvement in the Lone Star State." The guide is focused primarily on routes within Texas, but includes connections to Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, and routes north to Oklahoma City. There is a two-page index map, 12 Texas city maps, a map of Phoenix, and 98 routes described. This Goodrich series of Texas Route Books began in 1914, but OCLC shows no locations for this 1917 version. There are also no sales records for any of the Goodrich Texas Route Books. Folds into tan paper wrappers with Goodrich logo on the front wrapper.
