This unique panoramic view of London along the Thames River measures an astounding 18 feet in length. Engraved on wood with place names at the foot, the map begins at Western Stone Wharf and Victoria Tower to the Isle of Dogs, then "We now cross the River, and the View is taken on the opposite Shore" from Greenwich Reach to the Royal Victualling Office. Composed of seven joined sheets, affixed to the original publisher's red blindstamped cloth folder stamped with gilt stamping on spine. Sold by Azulay, Thames Tunnel.
