A beautifully engraved map extending to include the Orkney Islands and the Outer Hebrides. A large inset details the Shetland Islands. Simple title cartouche and a nice compass rose.

Condition: A

Full contemporary color on a sheet with a Fleur-de-lis coat of arms watermark by "Van der Ley." There is minor scattered foxing, an archivally repaired centerfold separation in the bottom margin, and light dampstains confined to the edges of the sheet.
