Most of this 54-page booklet serves as the index to Cram's Map of Ohio. However, the front cover features Cram's description of two of its rarest maps including Cram's New Indexed, County, and Railroad Map of the United States which had "just been completed after nearly two years' labor." Cram continues "the drawings were prepared at Washington, from Original Government Surveys. It has been engraved on a large-scale of 36 miles to the inch, specially to supply those who desire a large, clear first-class Map in every respect…Size 60 x 80 inches. Price $7.00.” The price is the equivalent of $178 today! The high price and large size may account for its scarcity (OCLC shows only one location for this map). The second rare map listed is Cram's Unrivalled Indexed Map of the United States, which "for selling qualities, this Map has no equal... Size, 40 x 60 inches. Price $3.00.” No copies of this map are located in OCLC or elsewhere. The rear cover includes advertisements for Cram’s Indexed Commercial Atlas of the Western States and Cram’s Cabinet or Office Series. Printed self-wrappers. No other copies of this price list have been located.
