A handsome map of Italy, Greece, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Hungary, a portion of Turkey and the Balkans. The course of the Danube River prominently crosses to the Black Sea, and a small inset in the Tyrrhenian Sea shows the source of the Danube. Decorative cartouche with river gods, a Pegasus and a dragon.

Full contemporary color with light soiling and toning, a stain at top center, and several old manuscript notations. The bottom margin was trimmed to the neatline at center by the bookbinder.
