Charming little map with a fair amount of detail along the Horn of Africa, reflecting Colonial trading interests. The Ptolemaic sources for the Nile are shown in the twin lakes of Zaire and Zaflan below the Equator. The map is decorated with a strapwork title and scale cartouche incorporated together. Latin text on verso, published in the first edition of the Atlas Minor.
