This remarkable facsimile of Mercator's landmark 1595 atlas was published by Coron Verlag. It includes 57 double page maps and multiple title pages, all in full color and printed on paper designed to appear antique. At the end of the atlas, there are 31 pages of German text providing historical context. Hardbound in elegantly blindstamped brown faux leather covers with gilt titles and decorations on covers and spine. Includes an attractive cardboard case lined with brown velvet.
