This unusual pictorial map of the United States was drawn by M. Smith and locates the birthplace of numerous mostly country music stars as indicated by the letters "Br." A few notable singers include Hank Williams (Alabama), Bill Monroe (Kentucky), Earl Scruggs (North Carolina), and Mac Wiseman (Virginia). The map includes numerous other illustrations (especially in the West) including playful depictions of the Oregon Trail, World's Champion Rodeo in Nebraska, Sitting Bull in South Dakota, and Billy the Kid in New Mexico. Decorated by a compass rose and title cartouche each featuring guitars. Edited by Thurston Moore and issued by Artist Publications in Cincinnati, Ohio.
