This map depicts the counties, roads, railroads, canals, and settlements of South Carolina. Tables at bottom right display the distances along various steamboat routes from Charleston to Savannah and Savannah to Augusta. An inset at bottom left depicts Charleston with a key identifying sites of interest. Engraved by J. & W.W. Warr.
