A handsome map of northern France along the border with Belgium including the cities of Abbeville, Amiens, Cambrai, Laon, and Compiegne. The map is fully engraved to show rivers, forests, and hundreds of small villages. The large title cartouche includes the coat of arms and the distance scales are enclosed in a ribbon-style banner. Blank verso.

Full contemporary color with some light scattered foxing. A centerfold separation that just enters the border at bottom has been closed on verso with old paper and some light adhesive staining is visible on recto. The bluish hue along the centerfold is caused by our scanner and is not present on the physical map.
