This beautiful map describes the region between the Loire and Seine rivers with the cities of Orleans, Estampes, Corbeil, Sens, and Auxerre. It is richly adorned with the royal coat of arms and a surveyor with the distance scale. There is a decorative title cartouche at top right. French text on verso, published from 1643-50.

A crisp impression with contemporary color. There are dampstains and remnant of hinge tape in the margins, well away from map image.
