Beautifully decorated map of the Aragon region in northeastern Spain, based on the cartography of the Portuguese mapmaker Juan Bautista Labana (1555-1624). Oriented with north to the right, the map is centered approximately on Zaragoza (Caragoca) and extends west to Calahorra and Cuenca, north to Pamplona, and east to Lerida. Finely engraved pictorial topography, elaborate title and scale of miles cartouches, and six royal crests adorn this map. This uncommon edition was updated with much more detail and published by Gerard Valck and Pieter Schenk. Blank verso.

References: cf. Van der Krogt (Vol. II) #6210:2B.
