This sheet contains three maps of northern Africa. The upper map shows all of northern Africa with the majority of the Mediterranean. At bottom left is a map of ancient Carthage (now a suburb of Tunis). The map at bottom right depicts the Nile River delta. The sheet is embellished with four strapwork cartouches and a large sailing ship. French text on verso, published between 1639-44.

A dark impression with full contemporary color with minor toning and marginal foxing. There is an archivally repaired centerfold separation in the bottom blank margin.
