This interesting atlas presents the cartographic history of Venezuela through facsimiles of 24 maps, ranging from Blaeu's Venezuela con la Parte Austral de la Nueva Andalucia (1635) to a contemporary full-color foldout map of the country (1945). It was presented by Comision Venzolana at the 4th Asamblea del Instituto Panmericano de Geografia e Historia (Assembly of the Pan-American Institute of Geography and History). 53 pages. Spiral bound with embossed boards for covers.

Maps are in very good condition with light toning along the sheet edges. The title page is toned with some soiling and spots. Covers are soiled and worn with an edge tear at the bottom of the front cover. A loose piece of cardboard provides additional support.
