This very distinctive and colorful panoramic view of Yosemite was drawn by Della Hoss and published by Yosemite Park and Curry Co. The rugged topography of the region is exaggerated with a three-dimensional effect and many of the attractions of the park are located including El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, and Yosemite Lodge. The map extends to the Mariposa Big Trees in the south and Lake Eleanor in the north with the Sierra Nevadas in the distance. Hoss lived in Yosemite for 13 years while her husband worked for the publisher of this map. She was also the sister-in-law of pictorial map legend Ruth Taylor White.
