A. Vue de San-Francisco, by Le Breton, from Geographie Generale Physique, Politique et Economique, published 1876 (7.9 x 5.0"). This handsome view depicts the city and bay from a hillside vantage. It is based on a Gold Rush-era view by the French artist and naval surgeon Louis LeBreton. The engraving was published in a geography book by L. Gregoire. On the verso is a map of California (4.9 x 6.6") engraved by A. Martin. Condition: Near fine. (A)

B. Vue de San Francisco, circa 1890 (7.9 x 5.9"). This view of San Francisco features some nice architectural detail. The bay appears in the background. The creator's signature appears at bottom left and reads either "Ousso" or "Dusso". Condition: On a sturdy, lightly toned sheet. (B+)
