Two attractive promotional brochures of Miami including:
A. Miami Florida Tourist Attractions and Agricultural Assets Dade County, Florida, circa 1931 (4.1 x 9.0"). This promotional brochure includes two small folding maps on the versos of the front and rear wrappers. The first is All Good Roads Lead to Greater Miami (7.3" x 8.3") by Richard V. Brown and extends from Jacksonville to Miami with attractive decorative elements including a plane, boat, train, and automobile under a radiant sun. The second is an untitled map (7.3" x 8.3") showing the greater Miami area with concentric circles radiating from downtown. The brochure includes copious text and related illustrations intended for the tourist. Self-folding with highly decorative covers.
B. Miami Florida Apartments, by Department of Publicity, City of Miami, circa 1930 (4.1 x 9.0"). This brochure features a complete listing of hotels and apartments for rent (including prices) for the 1930-31 season. At the center is a black & white Map of the City of Miami and Environs (14.5" x 17.0") showing the street grid pattern that extends to include Miami Beach. Locates bus lines, street cars, and includes a complete list of public and private schools. Self-folding with vividly illustrated covers.
