This handsome map depicts the theater of war in northern Italy during the War of Spanish Succession. The map extends from Turin in the west to Venice in the east, and as far south as Florence. Several cities are shown as miniature fortified plans, including Milan, Pavia, Finale Ligure, Trento, and Verona. The decorative title cartouche features various symbols of war.

A nice impression on a trimmed sheet with a fleur-de-lis watermark, a couple of minor creases along the centerfold, and light foxing along the edges of the sheet.
