This German sheet includes a number of engravings centered on Das Stadthaus in New-York, a view of City Hall in New York City with Tammany Hall identified in the distance. Surrounding this view are 11 smaller vignettes, including the flooding of the Mississippi, a view of Niagara Falls, settlers heading west, the killing of an Indigenous Canadian prisoner of war, a bison hunt, a steamship on the Mississippi, and more. Engraved by Rosmäsler.
