This large-scale pictorial map of Cleveland was drawn by hometown artist Arthur Suchy. It shows the street-grid pattern of the city along Lake Erie with numerous points of interest illustrated and numbered to a key at bottom right. Surrounding the city plan are historical notes and other illustrations not identified in the key including the City Zoo, Luna Park, Perry's Monument and Case Western University to name a few. Suchy illustrates many trees in the map to underscore the "forest city" name and also incorporates some classic design elements with a scroll legend, elaborate compass rose with fleur-de-lis, and a modern-looking windhead at top left. Folds into its original paper envelope (10.5 x 7.5").
