This is a French version of Padre Miguel Venegas’ significant map of Baja California, northwestern Mexico, and southern Arizona. It is based on Father Kino’s famous map of 1701, but contains more place names and updated information. Spanish missions and forts are marked, as well as several Spanish discoveries noted with respective dates. Engraved by A. van Krevelt.
