A. Les Royaumes d'Espagne et de Portugal, Divises par Grandes Provinces Dressee sur les Observat. Astron., by Janvier/Lattre, from Atlas Moderne, circa 1775 (17.3 x 11.9"). This detailed map of Spain and Portugal includes the Straits of Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Majorca, and Minorca, and the northern coastline of Algeria. A decorative title cartouche features the coats of arms of Spain at top and Portugal at bottom. Condition: On watermarked paper with light soiling and minor dampstaining along the centerfold.
B. Spain and Portugal, with Their General Divisions, by Samuel Dunn, dated 1794 (17.0 x 11.9"). This terrific English map of the Iberian Peninsula includes political divisions, towns and cities, and nice topographical detail. Published in London by Laurie & Whittle. Condition: Contemporary color on a sheet with a Strasburg bend and lily watermark. There is some light soiling and a 3.5" split along the centerfold at top that has been partially closed with archival tape on recto.
