A handsome map of northwestern Italy approximately centered on Turin that follows the Po River east, extending to include Milan and Genoa. The mountainous terrain of the Alps to Turin's west is prominently depicted as are lakes Como, Lugano, and Maggiore above Milan. The map depicts fortified cities, villages, roads and rivers and features 10 distance scales at lower right. Adorned by a decorative title cartouche featuring weaponry. This is the left sheet of a two-sheet map depicting all of Northern Italy.

Contemporary color with a small repaired hole in the top left corner and a 1.5" centerfold separation at bottom. There are a few minor stains and an old tape repair on recto confined to the right blank margin.
