This fantastic map of the Kingdom of Love was created by Johann Gottlob Immanuel Breitkopf. The Kingdom of Love depicts all facets of love and courtship that exist from youth to adulthood. One begins at the bottom of the map in the Land der Jugend (land of youth) where you can find the River of Wishes and the Spring of Happiness. Just to the north is the Province of Fixed Ideas with the City of Dreams at its center, but if you stay too long in this region, you may end up in Unrest or follow the Stream of Sweet Tears into the Land of Sad Love. Here you will find Contempt and Hopeless Mountains and recovery may be difficult. Instead you should head to the Land of Lucky Love and search for a Good Time, Tenderness, Pleasure and True Love, while avoiding the Lands of Lust and Bachelors. This is the second state, published in J. G. Krünitz's Oeconomische Encyclopaedie circa 1795.
