This map depicting the Source of Wishes was created by Johann Gottlob Immanuel Breitkopf. At bottom left is the source of the River of Wishes within the Land of Needs. The river then splits into multiple paths through various regions, such as the Land of Greed, Land of Honor, Land of Love, and Land of Benefits. After passing through these lands, one may arrive at the Land of Dreams, Land of Luck, or the Land of Peace. The goal is to avoid the of Cushion of Betrayed Hope at top left. A charming and rare map.

Full contemporary color with a few minor printer's creases and light toning and foxing. It appears that the Land of Dreams (top center) has some additional coloring that partially obscures the engraving.
