This charming map of Taiwan is one of the few maps to focus on the island. It includes the coast of Fujian and the Taiwan Strait with nice topographical and place name information. A note along the east coast indicates that little is known about the island. "Tom. V. No. 23" at lower right outside the neatline.

Issued folding and now flat on watermarked paper. There is a hint of offsetting, otherwise fine.
