A lovely bird's-eye view of Peking (Beijing) with 83 points of interest listed below the map in English, Chinese, and Russian. Locates Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, and more. The view still shows the inner and outer city walls which were destroyed in 1965. Outside of these walls is the Soviet Exhibition Hall (#51) designed by Sergei Andreyev in 1954. The map title and text on verso is entirely in Chinese. Self-folding into pictorial paper wrappers (7.6 x 10.5"). OCLC attributes this map to Yiqing Tao. The Rumsey reference is for a 1971 reprint in a CIA atlas.
