This colorful advertising map was drawn by Ingrid Miller and "donated to Kona Youth Activity Center." It is packed full with illustrations showing local businesses, churches, schools and more. The map also includes phone numbers and hours of operations, making it a useful display piece. Locates King Kamehameha Beach, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea, which is "the tallest mountain on earth from the ocean floor to its summit at 32,000 feet." The three stages of the Ironman Triathlon are also depicted, which is "recognized as the world's most grueling event." The map title is flanked by a pair of marlins and the official Big Island emblem is featured at top right.
