This is an updated version of the General Land Office map first published in 1898. It shows the western part of the present state of Oklahoma and also includes a portion of the steadily shrinking Indian Territory. It locates tribal holdings, grazing lands, roads and trails, and railroads proposed and constructed. Army post Ft. Sill, Ft. Reno and the Wood Res. are marked in red. Land Offices are located at Woodward, Alva, Oklahoma City, Guthrie, Kingfisher, El Reno, Mangum, and Lawton. The map is accompanied by the 115-page disbound Report of the Governor of Oklahoma. Housed in archival paper covers.

The folding map is clean and bright with a binding trim at upper right. Disbound text is very good with pleasant light toning.
