This chart of the North Atlantic Ocean focuses on the various routes between Europe and the Americas. The track of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson's is also shown. In 1801, during the French Revolutionary wars, Nelson chased French and Spanish fleets across the Atlantic to the West Indies, and back to Europe, however failing to bring them to battle.

Light toning along the centerfold and edges of the sheet, with archivally repaired centerfold separations that enter into map 1" at top and 3" at bottom. There are two tiny tears perpendicular to the centerfold that have also been archivally repaired.
